It's About Time!

My test is over and I have my life back! It is definitely time to catch up!

Nick and Alli have been into their fair share of trouble. One day Nick pulled the Cheerios off the table and spilled them all over the floor. He was quite proud of himself and dug right in!

I had my (yikes!) 29th birthday in March. I was hoping for a nice, quiet day at work followed by a dinner out with the family. No such luck...Arisa (our nanny) called me around lunch time and told me that Alli and Nick were both sick and throwing up. So I went home to take care of my sick kids. This is not supposed to happen on your birthday! I can't remember for sure, but I think I cried. Luckily the kids started feeling better and Brian was able to come home early from work to take care of them so that I could go out to dinner with my mom and sister. They rescued me and we had such a fun girl's night out at PF Changs!

Brian made me this delicous coconut-cream pie for my birthday. Loved it!

We've had some fun park days. Alli and Nick both love the park and even go down some slides all by themselves. They are always sad when we have to go home. I'm looking forward to many fun park days this summer!

We went to two Easter Egg Hunts. One with our ward and one with the twins club. We have more pictures on the other camera, but it's having technical difficulties tonight so I'll have to post those another time. Alli knew exactly what to do at the egg hunts, but Nick was more interested in running around and playing.

Lindsey was over to play a lot. The cousins have so much fun together!

Alli and Nick got a fun package in the mail from their Grandma and Grandpa Arens. They love their giant dog and bear and figured out that it is fun to slide off the chest and land on them. They also love their Elmo snugglies/leashes (at least right now). We haven't tried the leashes out in public yet, but I'm pretty sure they won't be thrilled with it (the parents will be, though). Thanks!

Alli got a new church dress. She was definitely showing off!

And finally, Nick "helping" me study. So glad that's over! He was always climbing on the table and trying to get my calculator.
